Nepal Telecom (NTC) has announced discounts in its GSM Postpaid, CDMA postpaid and GPRS services on the occasion of World Telecommunication Day — May 17.
GSM postpaid mobile activation charge will reduce from Rs 4,745 to Rs 2,130 from May 17 while CDMA activation charge will be the same as GSM postpaid mobile from May 17.
NTC has reduced the rate of GPRS in postpaid and prepaid mobile from Rs 0.02/kbs to 0.01/kbs till July 15, 2009. GPRS charge will be constant at 0.01/kbs after 60 MB usage volume.
