‘Let’s Go To Nepal’ Campaign Soon

To promote Nepal as a holiday destination among Non Resident Nepalis (NRNs) and foreigners, the Let’s Go To Nepal campaign team, along with the NRN community, is organising an event, ‘Let’s go to Nepal - A Musical Journey Home’. The organisers hope that the event will create a platform for awareness about the various exotic tourism products of Nepal among the NRN community.

The programme will be held in Hong Kong, Australia, Japan, and Korea. The four countries have been selected as they have a large Nepalese diaspora residing and working there and also student populations with keen interest in the country and who have adequate re sources to spend on a proper holiday, said the organisers.

The programme will be held on July 12 in Korea, July 18 in Japan, July 25 and 26 in Australia and August 2 in Hong Kong. The musical journey home will comprise three different events,a music concert and honour programmes for various nationals, stakeholders, and individuals contributing to promote Nepal’s tourism industry in collaboration with Nepal Tourism Board (NTB). The programme aims to educate NRNs about tourist destinations in Nepal and make them more informed, aware of their obligations to their mother countrynational duty and encourage them to work for the goal of landing a million tourists in Nepal in 2011 so as to make Nepal Tourism Year 2011 a success.
