he board meeting of Himalayan Distillery Limited (HDL) has elected Narendra Kumar Basnyat chairman and Raj Bahadur Shah managing director of the board.
According to a company press statement, the 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th AGM of the company held at the company's registered office in Parsa on May 7 elected unopposed Basnyat. HDL held a marathon session of AGMS, six in a row.
Founder-shareholders Akhileshwor Prasad Singh, Binod Shrestha and Raj Bahadur Shah directors of the board.
Meanwhile Santoo Shrestha, Parimal Jha and Shanker Raj Pandey were elected directors of the board from the general shareholders category.
