Kasthamandap Development Bank (KDB) opened its branch in Baglung Bazaar of Baglung district.The bank has been providing services from Ridi Bazar, Beni, Kusma, Namche Bazaar, Butwal and Gongabu, Chabahil and Satdobato. Issuing a statement Tuesday, the bank said it is opening two more branches in Pokhara and Narayangadh.The bank has earned Rs 9 million net profit during the first nine months of the current fiscal year 2008/09. The net profit was Rs 269,000 during last fiscal. Total deposit collected by the bank during the first nine months reached Rs 1.48 billion whereas loan flow crossed Rs 953.1 million. The deposit collection and loan extension by the bank stood at Rs 405 million and Rs 495.2 million respectively during the last fiscal year 2007/08.The bank has been providing remittance, locker service, ATM, e-banking, Any Branch Banking Service beside deposit collection and load-distribution.
