HAN Hails Nepal-India Revised ASA

Hotel Association Nepal (HAN) welcomed the revised Air Service Agreement (ASA) and technical accord between Nepal and India. "Increased capacity and opening of Gorakhpur, Deharadun and Bagdogra as new points for Nepal are laudable," said HAN adding that the MoU for opening new points such as Goa, Amritsar, Thiruvan thapuram, Vishakhapatanam and Cochin in addition to earlier limit ed seven destinations in India is also praiseworthy. It hailed the in stallation of VSAT at TIA and fifth freedom traffic rights to Nepal.

HAN strongly believes the new un derstanding will enhance Nepal's tourism sector and also be effec tive in meeting the target of bring ing in a million tourists in 2011.
