Kist Merchant Banking and Finance Ltd opened its 22nd branch in Chatachowk of Sunsari district. Kist has 16 branches outside Kathmandu valley. Rajendra Shakya, president of the finance company, inaugurated the branch and said Kist will soon become a full-fledged commercial bank, making it the youngest commercial bank in the country. The name of the financial institution has also been changed to Kist Bank Ltd. It plans open branches in Bhaktapur, Ratnanagar and Damauli soon
