CAAN, Thai Air ink mutual access deal

Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal and Aero Thai signed a memorandum of understanding here saturday to facilitate mutual access to technologies of the airlines of the two countries.

Control and monitoring of air services between the two countries would be eased after the agreement. Both sides claimed the agreement would prove a milestone in exchanging suggestions, technology and monitoring in the air service sector of the two countries.

The agreement was signed by CAAN director Keshav Raj Khanal and Aero Thai’s chief Marshal Somchai Then Ananta on behalf of their respective organizations.

Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Hisila Yami and Thai ambassador to Nepal Ashimama Ni were present on the occasion.
