In a bid to promote peace, harmony and friendship between five of the neighbouring nations in Asia, a group of 28 Thai nationals arrived in Kathmandu on Sunday after driving from their homeland for 13 days. The group drove to Nepal, after travelling through Thailand, Myanmar, Bhutan and India. Organised by Yeti Group of Companies for the Nepal portion, the group visited some of the famous landmarks in Nepal. The friendship caravan tour started June 17, when the 28 travellers started their ‘Self Drive’ from Thailand in their own vehicles. They drove through Kathmandu, Pokhara and Lumbini during their stay. The group will drive back to Thailand following the same route after their stay in Nepal.
