MALAYSIA-BASED budget carrier Air Asia on Friday donated Rs 500,000 to the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund for the victims of recent floods in various parts of the country. A team led by Azhanudin Shah Azman, flight operations director of Air Asia X, met Chairman of the Interim Election Government Khil Raj Regmi and handed over the cheque. On the occasion, Azman said the aid is part of the carrier’s corporate social responsibility. The airline that operates daily flight on the Kathmandu-Kuala Lumpur sector made its debut in the Nepali skies on July 3, 2012.
