KATHMANDU: On the occasion of its fifth anniversary, Jyoti Bikas Bank on Wednesday provided Rs 25,000 to Children Rehabilitation and Welfare Centre. The development bank has been offering ATM service, remittance service, cheque clearing and 365 days banking service from its 19 branches in the Kathmandu valley. The bank plans to open seven new branches in the next fiscal year, it said in a statement. As of 2012-13, the bank has collected deposits of Rs 3.92 billion and disbursed loans worth Rs 3.38 billion. It earned a net profit of Rs 66.6 million last year.
