Syakar Company organized a Green Planet Painting Competition for children at Honda showroom in Dhobighat of the capital. According to a press release issued by the company, over 100 students participated in two categories under the Honda philosophy of Safety, Efficiency and Environment (SEE).
“We especially chose the children´s painting competition, because they should be able to take care of environment. We want to create awareness since climate change is posing a threat worldwide,” Saurabh Jyoti, director of Jyoti Group, said on the occasion.
The children participated in two categories -- under 10 years and between 10-15 years. Winner of the competition got Philips music system while other winners got Philips DVD players and Philips radio sets as prizes.
Syakar recently launched Honda Jazz car in Nepal. All recent Honda car models have i-VTEC engine, which has low emission and is friendlier to environment.
