Hetauda Industrial Estate Getting Regular Power Supply

Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA), Hetauda is supplying regular electricity to Hetauda Industrial Estate by joining a new feeder .

NEA has invested Rs 3 million for supplying electricity with the separate feeder to the industrial estate. Fifty-nine small and large industries are operating in the industrial park. However, 16 industries have closed due to economic crisis, said the Hetauda Industrial Estate Management.

At present, three different new companies have started construction of buildings for operating new industries. Also, six entrepreneurs have registered applications seeking land for building to establish new industries. More than 7,600 employees have directly benefited from the industries run in Hetauda Industrial Estate.

Industrial estates across the country have been facing the problem of power supply. Balaju Industrial Estate, Patan Industrial Estate and Kathmandu Industrial Estate are also reeling under power shortage while industrial estates out of the valley are also hit by power outage.
