India ended the month of July with 479.04 million telephone subscribers (mobile and fixed), up by 3.06 per cent from 464.82 million in June. Teledensity in India has reached 41.08 per cent, according to data from Indian telecom regulator Trai. The wireless and mobile (GSM, CDMA, fixed wireless phone) subscriber base stood at 441.66 million.
