Auditor General Bhanu Prasad Acharya has expressed dissatisfaction over the apathy of the government in implementing suggestions put forth by the Office of the Auditor General (OAG) on different occasions.
“We have noticed that suggestions put forth and weaknesses identified by the OAG are not properly heeded. The government agencies need to be serious about issues raised by the OAG,” said Acharya addressing a function organized to mark the 55th Anniversary of the OAG on Saturday.
