Advertising Association of Nepal (AAN) has started an advertisement creation protection campaign to establish copyright security in the advertising sector and protect the creations of different advertising agencies.
During a press meet here today, AAN president Nirmal Poudel briefed the media about initiating an advertisement copyright protection process from today. Under this process, the advertising companies should fill up their application forms so that on violation of copyright of any advertisement the related company can file a complaint.
The advertising companies registered under the AAN for copyright protection will be registered for two years and the registered creations registered under AAN will be kept secure in bank lockers, Poudel said. Along with the initiation of the copyright protection process, AAN has also launched its official website -- www.adnepal.org.np -- for daily updates about the advertising sector and AAN's activities.
