NIC Bank started its Lahan branch from Monday July13, 2009 . Chairman of the bank Jagdish Prasad Agrawal inaugurated the first private commercial bank’s branch in Sagarmatha zone. To coincide with its 10th anniversary celebration, an ambulance to be managed by Marwadi Sewa Sadan, Lahan, was also donated for the local community. The ambulance was donated from the contributions made by the bank’s customers that were matched by the bank and NIC Foundation.
