Jyoti Bikas Bank (JBL) completed its one year of operation. The bank has been able to accumulate a deposit of Rs 600 million from its 7,000 customers, and floated Rs 500 million loan. It posted a profit of Rs 5 million. On the occasion of its first anniversary the bank donated Rs 50,000 to support handicapped children. It is providing 365 days banking and evening counter also.
