Laxmi Bank has signed a money transfer agreement with Trans-Fast Remittance LLC, US. Under the agreement, expatriate Nepalis living in the US can remit money to their friends and family back home through any of the 1,800 Trans-Fast office across the US. Beneficiaries in Nepal have the option of either collecting cash through a payment network of 400+ agents across the country or have the money deposited directly into their accounts at any of Laxmi Bank’s branches. It already is a major player in bringing money home from migrant workers in the Gulf and Malaysia.
