Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) has provided chemical fertilisers worth Rs 259 million under the Grant Assistance for Underprivileged Farmers -widely known as 2KR grant. JICA representative Tsutomu Shimizu handed over the chemical fertilisers to joint secretary of ministry of agriculture development Uttam Kumar Bhattarai on Wednesday. Agriculture Inputs Company has been assigned the responsibility to distribute the chemical fertilisers in 18 central and eastern hill districts.
