Radhesh Pant has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of Kumari Bank. The former president of Nepal Banker's Association (NBA) and managing director of Bank of Kathmandu will assume office from Sunday. KBL has increased the total deposit to Rs 15.710 billion as on July 15, a growth rate of 23 per cent. It has invested total loans and advances of Rs 14.7 billion during the period -- a growth of 28.4 per cent. The operating and net profit of the bank for the fiscal year 2008-09 stands at Rs 416.8 million and Rs 268 million respectively -- a growth of 27 per cent and 53 per cent respectively over the previous year. Its NPA, one of the lowest in the sector, stands at 0.43 per cent.
