Fifth Player in the Domestic Telecom
Smart Telecom is launching basic telephony services before the end of 2009. It will be the fifth player in the domestic telecom sector as four others — Nepal Telecom, Spice Nepal, UTL and STM Telecom Sanchar — are already operational. Smart Telecom is a joint venture between Nepali, Singaporean and Israeli companies.
