DANG: The business of gold coated jewellery has increased in Dang district after the gold price skyrocketed in the market.
The local residents prefer gold coated jewellery as it is safe to wear and the price was cheap, said Rakesh Basnet, a local entrepreneur.
"The gold coated jewellery is safer and cheaper that I prefer putting on," says Anju Dhital of Dhakana from Fulbari VDC-3.
“I came to buy the gold coated jewellery as the gold has been out of my reach due to its excessive price,” states Shanta Chaudhary.
