Chocoberry, which introduced flavored frozen yoghurt for the first time in Nepal, has opened its first franchise outlet in Chipledhunga, Pokhara.
The company has its main outlet at Civil Mall, Kathmandu.
Frozen yoghurt is similar to ice-cream, but is made using yoghurt instead of cream. Like ice-cream, it is available in different flavors.
Shameendra Khadka, one of the proprietors of Chocoberry, said Sakil Gurung has taken franchise of Chocoberry in Pokhara. “As per the agreement, Gurung will be allowed to use Chocoberry´s brand name and serve frozen yogurts as directed by Chocoberry," said Khadka.
Chocoberry will provide Gurung with all the technical, operational as well as material support in return.
The franchise outlet as Pokhara is currently serving frozen yoghurt in two flavors. Customers can add 20 different types of toppings like seasonal fresh fruits and dry fruits, chocolate chips, nuts and Oreo cookies crumbles, among others in the frozen yogurt as per their choice.
Chocoberry is currently available in more than 30 flavors on rotational basis at its outlet at Civil Mall.
"We will soon make these flavors available in Pokhara too," said Khadka.
At Chocoberry, customers will have to take yogurts from the machines and toppings themselves. "Our staffs will weigh the dessert and calculate the price accordingly," said Khadka. Chocoberry charges Rs 1.25 for a gram of frozen yoghurt.
