Twenty-third AGM of Standard Chartered Bank Nepal Limited (SCBNL) held yesterday decided to give 50 per cent cash dividend and 2:1 bonus share to its investors. The bank has gained a net profit of Rs.
1.03 billion in 2008-09. The bank collected a deposit Rs. 35.87 billion during the same period. Standard Chartered Group holds 75 per cent and the Nepalese public holds 25 per cent shares in SCBNL.
