The South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) human resource meeting has approved $625,686 budget for 2010. The meeting held in Islamabad of Pakistan on October 27-28 approved four trainings, two workshops, three researches and journal of human resource development (HRD). The meeting handed over tyhe SAARC human resource development centre to India from Bhutan. Bangladesh and The Maldives did not participate in the meeting. Joint-secretary of National Planning Commission Gopi Nath Mainali attended on behalf of Nepal.
