New Confederation of Nepalese Professionals Team

The fourth assembly of Confederation of Nepalese Professionals (CONEP) elected 46 executive members led by Pramod Raj Sharma. The CONEP general assembly held on May 1-3 was elected Bishwa Nath Pyakurel in senior vice-president and Kedar Sanjel, Dr Hira Maharjan, Hira Nepal, Balkrishna Giri and Prabha Bajracharya in vice-presidents. Likewise, Premal Kumar Khanal was elected general secretary and Bishnu Lamichhane, Shiva Adhikari, Lal Bahadur Pakhrin and Udaya Sharma vice-general secretaries. CONEP has coined the slogan ‘Trade union with political rights’ in the democratic republic of Nepal.
