Jagdamba Cement Industries — a Shanker Group company — recently started operations from its new unit, Shuva Shree Jagdamba Cement Mills, Parsa. The new plant is probably one of the most advanced cement manufacturing units in Nepal, claims the company. Jagdamba is one of the largest producers of cement in private sector with a capacity of 15,000 tonnes per day.
