New models of two-wheelers to hit market soon


Authorized dealers of various two-wheelers are set to launch new products in the Nepali market by the end of November. Nepal General Marketing (NGM); the authorized dealer of Hero two-wheelers for Nepal has already planned to introduce the latest model of Hero Splendor -- I-Smart, which was recently launched in India. Along with this, NGM is also preparing to launch 11 other upgraded motorbikes and a scooter brand. Karizma ZMR, Xtreme, Splendor Pro, Passion Pro, Passion X Pro and others with more improved and modified features and designs will be launched in the Nepali market by the end of November. Dinesh Ratna Bajracharya, brand promotion manager of NGM said, “We are almost done with the process and these newly upgraded models will be unveiled with improved features and looks targeting young customers.” According to Bajracharya, the upgraded models will be available at revised rates. Also, the new variant of scooter brand Pleasure with features like boot light in luggage box, mobile charger socket, among others, will also be launched. Similarly, AIT, the authorized distributor of TVS automobiles in Nepal also has planned to launch two new models in Nepal by the first week of December. A brand new scooter TVS Jupiter, an automatic transmission equipped 110cc scooter and 110 cc TVS Sport bike. According to Alok Josee, deputy general manager of AIT, these two models have already been launched in India a month ago. “Though we´ve not fixed the exact date yet, we are all ready to launch these two models in the very first week of December,” Josee said. Moreover, for the lovers of Yamaha brand, a brand new model of bike will be introduced by early November. According to Gaurav Hamal, marketing head of Morang Auto Works (MAW), an authorized dealer of Yamaha two-wheelers for Nepal, Yamaha SZ-RR with unique looks and style will be launched in the beginning of November. “The date is not fixed but we promise that our customers will not have to wait longer than the second week of November,” said Hamal. The bike was launched in India in October. “The 153 cc bike will have really good engine performance, great fuel economy and gearbox engine,” Hamal added. Yamaha SZ-RR will be available at an introductory price of Rs 199,900.
