Rupandehi trade fair 2009 in Butwal soon

Rupandehi Industry Association has announced to invest a certain percentage of the proceeds collected from an industrial exhibition and tourism festival for social development of the area.

The association has planned to organize 11th National Industrial Exhibition from December 24 to January 5 with the slogan "Use National Products, Be Proud of Being Nepali". The association said that it will invest a certain amount of the money collected from the entry tickets in social sectors. It said that from every ticket sold it will provide one rupee for green fund, three rupees for Lumbini Zonal Hospital and fifty paisa for the management of the corpse carrier from each ticket.

The association said it will grant free entry to those who pay Rs 500 for a proposed heart disease treatment hospital in the district.
The organizers plan to collect around Rs 1 million during the fair for the hospital, said association chairman Ejaz Alam.

The organizers have completed 60 per cent of the preparations for the exhibition. Varied cultural programmes, including national folk duet, inter-school folk dance, open folk dance will be highlights.
