Pepsi's Dream Team Scheme Again

Pepsi has this year also brought the ‘Pepsi Meet the Dream Team Campaign’.

“It is a follow-up consumer scheme of last year’s Meet the Dream Team that was a roaring success,” said Suranjan De, unit manager of Varun Beverages.

“Last year, we had an overwhelming response to the ‘Pepsi Meet the Dream Team Campaign’ which catapulted Pepsi to one among top 20 brands of Nepal,” he said adding that this year too Pepsi has come out with a sequel named ‘Make Your Dream Team’ with the objective of building and strengthening its international imagery and appeal and take it to greater heights of excitement with a strong consumer-connect and (UTC) scheme after a long time that is expected to engage consumers to make their Dream Team — collecting crowns featuring top notch international football heartthrobs of Nepali football fans. The new Pepsi campaign features international football stars like Thierry Henry, Cesc Fabregas, Kaka, Lionel Messi, Fernando Torres and Frank Lampard. Together, they make the Dream Team.

“Consumers will have to collect the crowns featuring four of these football stars and win exciting prizes every Sunday participation.

At the end of every week, through a lucky draw two of the lucky winners will be entitled to an all-expenses paid trip to Bangkok and Pattaya. “There are other exciting prizes like iPods, Reebok branded footballs and T-shirts to be won every week,” he said adding that thousands of consumers will be able to enjoy their favourite Pepsi for free. Pepsi has also started airing fun-filled TV commercials on all major TV channels, featuring these international football players.

“Pepsi — with almost 40 per cent of the total market share — is a growing organisation,” De said adding that it shares a sense of strong and deep association with Nepali youths.
