Surendra Bir Malakar, president of Nepal Chamber of Commerce (NCC) met Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal and urged him to postpone the decision to bring property tax act into operation.
According to Malakar, there must be proper planning before the tax is implemented. During the meeting, Malakar also asked for establishing a multi-VAT system. VAT is a major source of income for the government.
