FNCCI Urges Govt to Look Sharp for Passing SEZ Bill

Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) has urged the government to pass the act regarding Special Economic Zone (SEZ), Investment Board and electricity supply at the earliest.

In a press statement, FNCCI urged the government to show special concern for the private sector. In a meeting with representatives of Tikapur Chamber of Commerce and Industries, GTZ and PSP, FNCCI mem bers stressed on the participation of their association for bringing effectiveness in local economic development. Speaking in the meeting, FNCCI acting president Suraj Vaidhya said disturbances in the industrial sector, insecurity and economic instability have been seriously affecting the development of the industrial sector.

FNCCI vice-president Bhaskar raj Rajkarnikar urged for focusing on the one-village, one-product concept.
